Our Community Guest this week will be a representative from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation on Friday, May 25th from noon to 5 p.m. This regional non-profit works to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams. Information will be available about the programs available and ways for the Community to get involved.
SunnySide Produce will be with us on Friday. Until further notice Friday will be their day at the Market.
On Saturday, Nancy with The Pour House will be with us. She has some great pieces of pottery as many of you found out when she was with us on a prior Saturday. Until further notice, Nancy will be with us every other Saturday.
As part of our on-going fund raising for the Virginia Cancer Patient Fund, Phil Moss had donated one of his original "windows" and "granite" to anyone who made a donation prior to Mother's Day. We are pleased to announce that Laura Germain won the "window" and Brenda Napier won the "granite". Congratulations to you both. We hope you enjoy Phil's beautiful art work as much as we do. Phil is a very popular vendor. If you haven't seen his work stop by any day and see what he has to offer. He will do custom paintings on the granite as well as on the windows.
Our hours on Saturday from now until October are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. That allows you to come early before the Mall opens.
